TOPIC: Patricia Storms will step in as our January guest speaker and will share her experiences as the 2014 IBBY Canada Joanne Fitzgerald Illustrator in Residence and talk about what goes into creating a great cover for a kids’ book. Our originally scheduled speaker Julie Kraulis will join us at a future date. 

LOCATION: Our monthly meetings are at Toronto Public Library Northern District Branch, 40 Orchard View Blvd. (1 block north of Eglinton, west side of Yonge) in Room 224 (2nd floor).

REFRESHMENTS: Coffee and cookies will be served at the meeting. Thanks to Starbucks for the coffee!  

TRANSIT: TPL Northern District Branch is 1 block north of the Eglinton subway stop on the Yonge line.

PARKING: The closest Green P parking lot is on 75 Holly Street (1 block east of Yonge, south of Eglinton). There are other Green P lots on Erskine, Castlefield and Sherwood, 3 to 5 blocks north of Eglinton. The Yonge-Eglinton Centre has underground parking, with an entrance on Orchard View Blvd.
