We are excited to offer the Fall Edition of our Online Writing Retreat. As always, the Writing Retreat is free to attend.

We invite you to CONNECT, CREATE & SHARE with writers and illustrators from coast to coast to coast.

Our goals for the day include providing a safe and welcoming space to meet, work, and build community.

NOTE: The Zoom link (and the writing retreat schedule) is in the confirmation email sent automatically after you register. 

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Bring any project(s) you are working on.

2. The day starts with introductions in the Main Zoom Room. Participants then choose a Breakout Room where they can talk in small groups for 30 minutes. Breakout Room topics include Picture Books, Middle Grade, Chapter Books, Young Adult, Querying, Illustrating, Marketing, etc. Other topics can be added during the day.

3. The Breakout Room is followed by a 2½ hour silent work session in the Main Zoom Room, with cameras and mics are off.

4. The rest of the day will be 30-minute Breakout Room meet-ups, followed by 2½ hour work sessions in the Main Zoom Room.

5. Participants are in different time zones, so build in your breaks at whatever times work for you during the 2½ hour work sessions.

5. We’ll finish up the day with Happy Hour and sharing.
