Paging Imagination, an exhibit of original Canadian children’s book artwork by CANSCAIP illustrators, will be in the L Space Gallery at Humber College Lakeshore Campus in Toronto, open to the public from November 10 to 20, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 5:00. (The art show will also be open on Saturday, November 14, for attendees of CANSCAIP's Packaging Your Imagination conference at Humber College.) 

Our art features original work from childhood favourites, as well as work from creators exhibiting for the first time. Most pieces include preliminary sketches for a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process. The artist statements are fun to read, and include information about the medium, perspectives on storytelling with art, and lists of favourite children’s book illustrators.

Some work will be for sale. Interested purchasers can contact CANSCAIP's at office@canscaip.org. We will forward the purchaser's contact information to the artist, so the artist can respond directly. All proceeds from sales will go directly to the artist, with no commissions or gallery fees.
