Bio
Svetlana Fadeeva is a Canadian-based children's author, illustrator, storyteller, and educator with over 20 years of professional experience. She has authored more than 20 traditionally published children's books, many of which she has also illustrated.

Her work combines imaginative storytelling, philosophical themes, humour, and a deep appreciation for nature. Through her books, illustrations, and educational projects, she encourages children to explore the world, understand their emotions, and discover the joy of reading.

Her literary achievements include international awards, notably the Walt Whitman International Literary Competition. A member of several national and international writers' organizations, she has participated in literary festivals, book fairs, and author events across Europe.

Svetlana performs literary storytelling for young audiences and creates original watercolour illustrations. Her solo exhibition, The Secret Life of Nature, was held in Minsk in 2026.

She currently lives in British Columbia, Canada, where she continues her literary and artistic work.
