Bio
Brenda grew up in southern Alberta, the granddaughter of pioneers. Her first novel, The Art of Rebellion (Rebelight Publishing 2016), is a YA historical, set in Paris during La Belle Epoque. It was on the Calgary Bestsellers list four times, and is archived in the library of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. She has a short story published in an anthology, YYC POP, and poetry published in chapbooks. Her picture book, Flip, Flop, Flapjack! was published in 2023 by Red Barn Books.
