Born and raised in London, Ontario, Jocelyn graduated from York University and has attended The Humber School for Writers.
Her latest book for teens is How to Tend a Grave, released in April 2012.Her previous books for teens include Getting a Life, Cross My Heart and Seraphina’s Circle, all of which received 4**** Highly Recommended reviews in CM magazine. She is also co-editor of Cleavage: Breakaway Fiction for Real Girls, which is listed in Resource Links Best of 2008 for Grades 7 - 12, the Canadian Children's Book Centre's Best Books for Kids & Teens 2009, and is on the ALA's 2010 Amelia Bloomer list. She also writes for adults, and her award-winning stories have appeared in anthologies, newspapers and magazines. When not writing or travelling, Jocelyn likes hiking, singing harmony, and spending time with her family, especially her inspiring grandchildren. She divides her time between Toronto and Vancouver Island.
